Tandberg awards top performers

Partners from the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Pakistan, Egypt, Libya and Oman participated in the event, which recognises TANDBERG partners that have delivered superior solutions to their customers during the past year and also have demonstrated outstanding sales performance for TANDBERG. The event also hosted specialist training and networking workshops for the various partners at TANDBERG’s Middle East Headquarters based at Dubai Internet City.

TANDBERG General Manager for the Middle East & North Africa, Georges Lemire, said that the annual event was an ideal opportunity for TANDBERG to acknowledge its partners’ hard work and highlight all their efforts and achievements throughout the previous year.

“Our partners are very important to the continued expansion of TANDBERG, which is already the largest provider of visual communications throughout the region,” Lemire said.

“This event gives us a chance to acknowledge the continued efforts of our strategic partners; with the additional benefit of motivating others in the race to win next year’s top award.”

The TANDBERG Partner Programme develops partners’ skills and provides resources to enable them to drive the adoption of natural communication in their markets. Partners are very diverse and can vary from small specialised video companies working in specific markets, medium-sized companies that offer video as one part of their business, to very large organisations that specialise in network products and services.

TANDBERG presented awards in eight categories to its channel partners during the event.

Winners of this year’s awards include:

Highest Sales in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – International Turnkey Systems (ITS)

Highest Sales in the West Gulf – Al Alamiah Technology Group

Highest Sales in the Country of Egypt – Egyptian Micro Solutions (EMS)

Highest Sales in the United Arab Emirates – Emirates Computers

In its second quarter results announced last week, the company saw a 5 percent year-on-year increase in revenues to $ 204.6 million compared to the same period last year.
