ATA presents latest products and solutions

ATAATA, a company specialising in the design and manufacturing of electronic and metrological devices for taxis, is participating at this year’s GITEX Technology Week.

The company is showcasing its latest products and solutions including LCD, LED smart taxi meters and roof lights.

“We would like to highlight a new smartphone, which we have developed in partnership with Archos,” says Elodie Guilhem, International Business Engineer, ATA. “This device is designed for taxis and is incorporated with an app that will enable connectivity between the drivers and customers. This smartphone is paired with the taxi meters and the app, allowing for seamless and fair transactions between customers and drivers.”

According to the company, over the past two years they have been developing a new range of products for the taxi industry which integrate Wi-Fi, GPRS and Bluetooth technologies. The also develops solutions connected to the taximeters in order to manage fleet of taxis, vehicles and bring more fares and more visibility to passengers. ATA also offers products such as printers, payment terminals, fleet management systes, dispatching services, tablets and cloud solutions for taxi companies.

Sebastien Andrieu, CEO, ATA, says, “We believe that taxis are extensions of a country’s tourism identity. Dubai is among the leading cities here in the region when it comes to tourism and, of course, in technology. We would like to bring our offerings here to help improve the Emirates’ offerings when it comes to these two major verticals.

“Through GITEX, we would like to penetrate the UAE market by reaching out to potential partners and resellers, and in the longer run expand our presence in the Middle East region,” adds Andrieu.

ATA is part of the French Pavillion in Hall 4.
