The company will also combine its Brocade 300, 5100 and 5300 SAN Fibre Channel switches and its Brocade DCX backbone switches with Sun Fire or SPARC Enterprise servers and Sun storage systems and tape libraries for data warehousing workloads.

Brocade will also combine its ServerIron load-balancing appliance and its FastIron LS for IP connectivity with Sun Storage 7410 Unified Storage System for business intelligence applications.

The company has also validated configurations of Oracle VM, Brocade 300 switches, Brocade 815/825 HBAs and NetApp FAS3100 Series Storage systems to enhance application performance in virtual environments.
