Check Point flaunts threat protection technologies

Cybersecurity vendor Check Point Software Technologies is using Gitex as a platform to showcase its “complete” security architecture that defends enterprise networks to mobile devices coupled with “intuitive” security management.checkpoint

“We have been in the region for 15 years and our business is growing rapidly. There is a common perception that we are only next-gen firewall company but we offer a complete suite of integrate threat protection products including mobile threat prevention, virtualisation security and APT solution,” says Ram Narayan, Channel Manager, Check Point.

Among the solutions on display at the event is Check Point’s SandBlast zero-day protection, which combines evasion resistant CPU-level detection and OS-level sandboxing.

Narayan says Check Point provides to threat intelligence to all its customers to stop threats, mange service services to monitor networks and quickly respond to and resolve attacks. “We continue to invest in R&D to further improve our product family and look ahead to what customers need. A smart future is important, but it also needs to be a safe future. Not only do we work diligently to remain one step ahead, but we also cooperate with other technology partners and governments to play our part keeping customer safe.”

Check Point is exhibiting at the show through its distribution partner Arrow ECS and Narayan says the show is a great opportunity for his company to meet customers and partners. “We are a channel driven company and GITEX provides us with an opportunity to meet with new channel partners from across the region and engaging with them on a business model that suits the market place they operate in.”
