CNME’s ICT Achievement Awards 2011 to be held today

CNME’s ICT Achievement Awards 2011 is scheduled to be held today, coinciding with the first day of GITEX Technology Week 2011. Supported by publisher, CPI, the event looks to honour the best in IT deployments and vendors across the region.

The CNME team is once again geared up to host the awards having received over 352 nominations across the 20 different award categories.

“The nominations stand evidence to the fact that ICT is of growing strategic importance to organisations across all industrial sectors and each nomination represents an exemplary IT talent. Selecting one award winner against each category has been a mighty task for our honorary panel of judges. Nevertheless, they have gotten through the task and we are once again, ready to announce the winners at a glittering ceremony this evening,” said Sathya Mithra Ashok, senior editor, CNME.

Having hosted an audience of 500 senior executives representing prominent organisations from the UAE, KSA and Qatar at last year’s event among others, the ICT Achievement Awards 2011 and  the team organising this effort is all geared up to replicate last year’s  phenomenal success at a gala awards ceremony bringing together end users and vendors from across the Middle East.

The ICT Achievement Awards 2011 is to take place at the Al Massa Ballroom at the Monarch Hotel this evening and the ceremony is expected to begin 7pm onwards.
