Lexmark unveils X200 Monochrome Laser

Lexmark International, recently announced the new series of monochrome laser multifunction devices, the Lexmark X203n and X204n models, which the mnaufacturer claims, have one of the smallest footprints in their class. Designed especially for the desktop, these monochrome laser MFPs meet the needs of customers who seek professional, business-class output, but face the challenge of smaller working environments or conserving desk space.

With eight new families announced since January 2009, Lexmark broadens its offering on the market with a range of A4 monochrome laser multifunction devices covering print speed points from 23 pages per minute (ppm) to 53 ppm.

Targeted to small offices, home offices (SOHO) and small workgroups in any size business (medium to large enterprises), the Lexmark X200 Series provides performance-rich features and convenience in a small footprint.

The Lexmark X200 Series integrates several functions combining copy, scan and fax capabilities into its ultra-compact design. The new X200 Series boasts such business-class features as 1200×1200 dpi for high-quality output, and PCL 6 and PS 3 emulations to print complex documents.

The new X200 Series offer time-saving features including PC-free copying, rapid output speeds as fast as 23 ppm and a 30-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF).

In addition to the outstanding performance benefits, the Lexmark X200 Series is also quiet, ultra-compact and very easy to use with built-in USB and Ethernet connectivity. Customers will find it easy to be more productive with the innovative scanning tools that come with this network-ready desktop companion. The Lexmark X200 Series is designed to scan and send documents easily to various destinations including e-mail. Equipped with intuitive scan software out of the box, Lexmark Scan Center and Presto PageManager 7 Deluxe, customers can move quickly between hardcopy and digital documents.
