Software Congress 2012 to be held tomorrow

Software Congress 2012, CNME’s and CPI’s bold initiative to discuss the changing rules of software creation and delivery in the Middle East, is set to be conducted tomorrow at The Address Hotel, Dubai Marina.

The third annual event will bring together prominent end-users and vendors together to discuss the new business dynamics in the region, and the ways in which software delivery can help organisations become more effective and productive.

“With crunched budgets and shrinking margins, CIOs are forced to put new projects on hold, and begin to consider migration from their legacy systems in order to gain more efficiencies. And even if they are actively migrating, then they are looking to increase productivity on existing investments across an organisation,” said Richard Judd, MD of CPI.

“Software, for the CIO of this year, is all about driving efficiency, increasing productivity and helping him inch that step closer to, if not adding to the bottomline, at least keeping it stable. Software Congress 2012 will address this extraordinary change in circumstances in the Middle East, and present strategies to integrate the new realities into the overall IT functioning of an organisation,” added Sathya Mithra Ashok, Senior Editor of CPI Technology.

Software Congress 2012 is organised by CPI, one of the oldest publishing houses in the Middle East, and CNME, CPI’s flagship technology title. It is supported by Etisalat, EMC, Avaya, Dell and Epicor.
