“This is the second year we are participating at GITEX,” said Stephen Fernandes, Executive Vice President, TransSys Solutions. “We are primarily focused on showcasing our cloud services based on Oracle Cloud. We are highlighting our IT service offerings established around Oracle’s cloud products and technologies (Oracle Fusion), including its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions. TransSys has built PaaS for SaaS extensions across industry verticals to help clients quickly and adopt to Oracle’s cloud platform.”

Fernandes also noted that they aim to highlight their ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud and Cx Cloud as well as Business Intelligence, Planning and Budgeting on Cloud offerings. “We help clients by understanding their needs to embark on their digital transformation journey. Here at GITEX we also wanted to discuss the different success stories of customers across industries like real estate, banking, retail and aviation among others. As an example, one of our customers – Aldar Properties, won various accolades like the ‘Construction and Real Estate Deployment of the Year’ award at CNME’s ICT Achievement Awards’ and ‘Digital Excellence’ award from Oracle.”

Speaking about the regional market, Fernandes highlighted that there has been an increased uptake in cloud solutions among enterprises here in the Middle East. “Companies in the region are keen to gain a larger share of the benefits from driving digital transformation within their organisations. Leveraging different cloud deployment platforms would enable them to upscale their digital agenda. In addition, more and more organisations want to harness the value of their data. They want real time analysis and reports of their data and moving to the cloud gives the ability to do that.”

Post GITEX, Fernandes underlined that they will continue on developing innovations that will further enable their customers’ transition to the cloud.
