AOC “Win 2010 Disty Party” offered the vendor’s distribution partners in these regions lots of social activities along with a tour of the spectacular Beijing Olympic village and also a trip to the Great Wall of China.
Aside from the fun, it wasn’t all about partying and socialising, as the core event had a series of business presentations and discussions intended to unite AOC staff and distributors under the theme of “One Dream, One Team.”
At the conference AOC revealed to its partner the impressive growth figures in Asia-Pacific and MEA region, which has averaged at 49% per year from 2007 to 2009, making AOC the fourth largest brand amongst display manufacturers in AP region.
Speaking on the conference, Suchit Kumar, DGM, sales MENA & CIS Central Asia, AOC, said that, “Despite the global downturn and the late entry of AOC in the Middle East and Africa region we have done exceedingly well and we will continue to increase our efforts to grow faster by enhancing our visibility and availability in the region.”
Kumar added that AOC is committed to working closely with its distributors to experience even better growth this year by following the principles of AOC’s “One Dream, One Team”.
According to AOC, it has consistently been increasing its market share in this region from 6% in 2007 to 10% market share in 2009. AOC in a short period has become a brand to be reckoned with in big markets like India and the Philippines, where its market share is growing rapidly.
