VLC for iOS

V4HttpAssetRepositoryClient-mzl.gprdkhxa.jpg-4052895957572187983.320x480-75This free universal app brings the VLC media player to iPad, iPod and iPhone. For those of you who are used to converting your movies and TV shows on your computer before syncing them to your iOS device, VLC for iOS means you’re going to find watching that content a lot easier, because you’ll no longer need to convert it.

There seem to be a few teething problems with the new, improved version of the app, but it’s free and the developers are quick to update when an issue becomes apparent, so it’s worth giving it a go.
