Canon Club debuts in Morocco

The Diffazur Canon Club gathering was characterised by team building activities and hosted a total of 42 tier-two  partners that included mass markets, power retailers and IT resellers, who have helped shape Canon’s presence in that country.

 

The Diffazur Canon Club forms the cornerstone of Canon Middle East’s Channel strategy in Morocco in terms of recognising and rewarding key partners.

Hamid Baalla, Key Account Manager, Canon Middle East, said Canon Middle East understands what its partners want to succeed in business and that is profitability, supplier support through training, marketing and service, as well as additional incentives such as promotions and demonstration unit support.

 

“The Diffazur Canon Club in Morocco aims to support channel partners achieve even more profitability by distinguishing them in the market place through product knowledge, customer insights and world class product line ups,” Baalla said.

 

The Diffazur Canon Club is intended to be a core part of Canon’s business in Morocco and will evolve in line with market demands. Top performing Diffazur Canon Club partners will be recognised regularly through various motivational reward schemes.

 

Somesh Adukia, Levant Iran and North Africa Sales Manager, Canon Middle East added that: “Canon has been working with, and supporting, its channel partners and resellers for a number of years and the introduction of this programme further enhances our commitment to servicing Morocco’s robust IT channel.

 

Adukia said the Diffazur Canon Club will be instrumental in providing a platform for constructive interaction among channel partners with the Canon management, which will ultimately result in offering better services to the consumer.

 

Diffazur is actively involved in distributing Canon products across Morocco and aims to increase Canon’s presence from 220 stores in 2009 to 750 by end of 2010.
