Evanssion, a regional value added distributor for cloud transformation and information security solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with Avi Networks, a vendor in next-generation Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs).

According to the distributor, the partnership will broaden its product offerings in its strategic pillars of cloud transformation and security. Evanssion will now provide enterprise customers from across the region with software defined application services while enabling them to accelerate application delivery on-premises or in the cloud with services including application visibility and analytics, micro-segmentation, autoscaling, and self-service for app developers.

The Avi Vantage Platform delivers elastic, application-centric services beyond load balancing without the inflexibility, overprovisioning, and overspending that is characteristic of appliance based application delivery controllers. With a distributed architecture, Avi Vantage provides a centrally managed, dynamic service fabric consisting of micro ADCs to deliver granular application services very close to individual applications in data centres or public clouds. The platform runs on commodity x86 servers, virtual machines, or container technologies such as Docker and Mesos. Fortune 500 customers using Avi Vantage have lowered their TCO for application services by more than 50 percent.

“We are thrilled to partner with Evanssion to expand our operations and our VIP channel partner base across the Middle East,” said Dirk Marichal, VP of EMEA and India, Avi Networks. Marichal recently joined Avi Networks from his previous leadership role at Nutanix. “Evanssion’s business expertise, customer relationships, and technical knowledge in cloud and security makes this an ideal partnership for Avi Networks to introduce the most advanced application services offering in the industry to enterprises across all verticals. This partnership will help organisations in the entire region gain superior insights into their applications and deliver automation and self-service IT while reducing their overall costs.”

Enterprises are becoming application-centric and adopting DevOps practices to accelerate application rollouts. With Avi Networks, enterprises can achieve ‘public-cloud-like’ flexibility for application services to deploy, monitor, scale, and move applications in any environment. The platform includes out-of-the-box integrations for virtualized environments, OpenStack, SDN, and Microservices frameworks. In addition, the platform delivers all of its application services as REST API to empower application developers.

“Avi Networks brings a sophisticated solution to the ADC market which has been quiet for a long time when it comes to innovation. We are excited to be working with Avi Networks to deliver unprecedented agility in application delivery and insights into application performance and security for private and public cloud environments,” said Dilip Kalliyat, President, Evanssion. “Forward-looking enterprises see the need to drive automation and self-service for application services in the face of multi-cloud networks. With the Avi Vantage Platform, customers will be able to speed up time-to-market for critical applications, lower TCO, and dramatically improve IT services for lines of business.”

As part of the agreement, Evanssion will provide pre-sales, sales, vendor accredited trainings, lead generation support, and a vendor support team for resellers and end customers. Evanssion and Avi Networks will work together towards building a Center of Excellence in Dubai that will act as a Proof-of-Concept and demo center for customers and will also be utilised to conduct partner trainings.
