Gitex Conference 2008 speaker: Gordon Rawling

Gordon Rawling joined Oracle Communications as Senior Marketing Director, Market Development for the EMEA region in early 2008. He is responsible for directing marketing activities in the region to enable Oracle Communications? success in EMEA, working with both existing and prospective clients. His market facing role sees him working across the diverse Service Provider environment in EMEA to ensure the Oracle value proposition is clearly understood and appropriately focused on the business needs of Service Providers. 

Gordon has more than 17 years of experience in IT service delivery and Marketing, working with leading clients across Europe and North America. Prior to Oracle he worked for Amdocs where he held a variety of roles ? from delivery to product marketing. Most notably, he was instrumental in building both the strategy and positioning of the Amdocs portfolio, and in the development of the company?s Integrated Customer Management vision. Prior to Amdocs, Gordon spent 11 years working for EDS, performing management consulting, account management and delivery leadership roles across the organization.Gordon graduated from Salford University in the UK in 1989 with a degree in computer science.
