HP launches IT services management degree

HP has partnered with Bucks New University to launch a new foundation degree in IT services management.

The two-year, part-time, work-based qualification aims to help develop IT professionals’ existing skills, or anyone looking for a career change can also apply for the course.

It covers the themes of personal and professional development, technology and business.

The course will be taught through flexible learning at the university’s High Wycombe location and at HP’s Bracknell site.

Dr Kevin Maher, principal lecturer of new media and technologies at Bucks New University, said: “People working in IT services management are concerned with the effective management of IT systems for providing quality services to clients.

“This course provides students with the opportunities and insights that will ensure they develop the technical and business skills to help them secure long-term employment.”

HP has previously developed IT courses with the University of the West of England and De Montfort University.
