Alcatel-Lucent showcases new technologies at GULFCOMMS 2008

Alcatel-Lucent highlighted its leadership in wireless broadband and feature its solutions at the upcoming GULFCOMMS 2008 show, taking place in Dubai, UAE on October 19th – 23rd at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Alcatel-Lucent booth, stand Z-F1 located at the Zabeel Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, will showcase Alcatel-Lucent latest technologies and comprehensive portfolio of innovative solutions designed to help service providers benefit from new and existing business models that exploit the ability of advanced broadband networks to deliver profitable growth.

Jeong KIM, Bell Labs President, while visiting Dubai for the first time and expressed his views on cutting edge technologies. He unleashed some his organization’s unique approach towards innovation driven research and development. “We are focused on coming out with an innovative and needbased solutions for the enterprise customers.” Kim says.

It is customized to the different market segment: Mobile Service Providers, Site Owners, and Alternative Service Providers.

Multimedia Services over end-to-end WiMAX

Alcatel-Lucent will be featuring its Multimedia Services over end-to-end WiMAX live demo that combine Alcatel-Lucent’s market-proven leadership in both WiMAX and Broadband IP Networking.

Mobile Evolution Transport Architecture

Alcatel-Lucent will further highlight how its technology allows service providers to leverage existing TDM/ATM infrastructure and deliver these traditional services more cost effectively over a packet network.

Mobile Interactive TV

Illustrating the continuously leading position of Alcatel-Lucent in the Mobile TV arena, this demo is showcasing the latest innovations of our Mobile interactive TV solution, more particularly in the field of broadcast mobile TV.
