TagStone, one of the Middle East’s leading wireless technology solutions integrators, has entered into a partnership agreement with Zebra Enterprise Solutions (ZES), a division of Zebra Technologies Corporation. ZES employs wireless technologies to locate, track, manage, and optimize high-value assets, equipment and people within enterprises and across supply chains.
TagStone and ZES will focus on vehicle management systems for automotive dealerships in the region. Middle East automotive dealers are scaling their operations to meet the growing automotive market demand and the resulting service needs, all of which leads to more complex operations. Tracking equipment, managing service bays, and maintaining parts are all part of the total service throughput time, which are customer satisfaction and key performance indicators for dealers
Mike Meranda, TagStone’s CEO said, “Customer service is a very important differentiator in a highly competitive business like automotive dealerships and wireless RFID solutions like the ones from Zebra can make the difference. We have already worked with Zebra on several projects successfully and have now entered this partnership to formally extend this to other dealerships around the region.”
ZES offers a wide range of scalable RTLS (Real Time Locating Systems) technologies used to generate accurate, on-demand information about the physical location and status of assets. The complete selection of RTLS asset tracking product offerings, range from battery-powered active RFID WhereTag asset tags to WhereCall button tags to precision WhereTrack products.
“Zebra Enterprise Solutions and Tagstone have established a strong automotive solution practice in the region. We look forward to continuing to provide asset and personnel tracking solutions for enterprises that desire real-time data and information”, said Tom Bacon, Senior Vice President, Automotive Solutions Group, Zebra Enterprise Solutions.
TagStone and ZES’ Vehicle Management System (VMS) provides automotive dealerships with real-time visibility into the service center and vehicle storage facilities. The system translates location data into real-time information, such as security alerts and vehicle queue management as well as historical data analytics.
Solutions will enable automotive dealerships to generate accurate, on-demand information to enhance customer service
