Almasa IT Distribution awards staff for long-standing commitment, reveals future plans

A group of senior and highly performing staff members were recently rewarded for their prevailing commitment and dedication by Almasa IT Distribution at its 17th anniversary event, the company has announced.

In addition to recognising staff members’ extensive years of employment, Mehdi Amjad, president of Almasa Holdings, also revealed Almasa IT Distribution’s strategic plans for 2012.

Throughout the celebratory event, the staff acknowledged included those who have enabled Almasa IT Distribution to navigate turbulent moments in the regional market and position the company for future growth.

“Developing a focused, loyal team with the technical skills and market knowledge to serve the changing needs of the Middle East has been vital to Almasa IT Distribution’s longevity”, said Amjad. “As we continue to evolve, we plan to invest significantly this year to build on our solid foundation, while addressing the growth of our existing business, as well as new market opportunities in vertical sectors and geographies including Iraq”.

“Almasa IT Distribution’s strategy for this year predominately focuses on continuing to grow the existing business relations as well as expansion into new markets and adding new products to our portfolio”, added Amjad.  “We will also continue to firmly invest in our channel partners – who are fundamental to delivering our products and solutions to the Middle East and into Africa, while expanding our partnerships with key vendors. Furthermore, throughout 2012 our sales team will increase – all of which we believe will encourage significant revenue increase”

Taking stock of their product and solution ranges, as well as continuing to grow business in the markets in which they deliver most consistently – the UAE, GCC and North Africa, Almasa IT Distribution are confident they can provide channel partners and vendors with a richer product portfolio, added services, and solid results in 2012.
