Canon Middle East to launch Professional Services Programme

Canon Middle East recently announced the launch of Canon Professional Services (CPS) programme, its new after-sales support system for UAE’s professional photographers.

The CPS programme offers professional users of Canon products exclusive, free access to a range of benefits, from CPS support teams at various international and local events, to a priority repair service and direct support from Canon professional representatives all across Europe and UAE, the company said.

National Stores, Canon’s official distributor of imaging solutions in the UAE will be Canon’s authorised service provider for CPS in the country, it was reported.

“Professional photographers, filmmakers and creative industries rely on Canon as the industry standard for imaging excellence. With this in mind, Canon is committed to providing the highest standards of support in the industry, with a customer focused approach to after-sales service. Underlining our commitment to the growing professional photography community, we are delighted to announce that our new CPS membership program offers professional customers the level of support they need to help them do their job,” said Geir Tronnes, service and support director, Canon Middle East.

“We listen to professional photographers and this is just the beginning. Canon will continue working to provide even more comprehensive and valuable services to support the industry,” added Tronnes.

According to Canon Middle East, the company will be offering silver membership benefits to CPS members in the UAE, which will include:

  1. Special CPS Lane – dedicated member’s only service lane at service centres
  2. Priority and faster repair time ( five days)
  3. New product information and support
  4. Special invitation to Canon events
  5. Recognition to international events where CPS support exists.

Not only do I get great services but also get to speak in the same language I speak as a professional photographer”.

UAE based Canon professional photographers can register their Canon equipment easily through https://cps.canon-europe.com/. The membership will be automatically assigned depending on the number of qualifying bodies and lenses registered with the system.
