Dell EMC focused beyond tech

Participating at GITEX for the first time as a combined company, Dell EMC is highlighting its offerings and capabilities in bringing “agile and efficient” solutions to enterprises.dell-shams

Shams Hasan, Enterprise Product Manager, Dell EMC, said, “I am happy to say that the Dell and EMC teams, which have come together soon after the deal was finalised, are working seamlessly together in showcasing the company’s products and solutions. This year, our primary focus is on our customers. We want educate them on the various unique offerings that we can offer them as we combine our capabilities. We’ll also be launching a localised research, where we have talked to customers from various countries across the globe including UAE and Saudi Arabia. This study was conducted so we can fully understand what’s happening to our customer’s businesses, their pain points and what digital transformation means to them.”

Hasan went on to highlight that the recent deal with Smart Dubai Government Establishment (SDG), the technology arm of Smart Dubai, demonstrates the unique capabilities that Dell EMC can bring to the market. “Customers will see that we can focus beyond technologies and on to the business agenda for both private sector and public sectors. We can deliver the best solutions to further enable their success. We can address numerous industry needs whether it be for devices, cloud or the data centre. Dell EMC as a whole can now fully provide holistic solutions to the market.”

He also homed in on the need to provide robust IT infrastructure to optimise digital transformation. “Becoming a digital business means transforming operating models, people, and process as well as IT,” he said. “We uniquely power this digital transformation by delivering best-in- class technology for applications, data, infrastructure and security – from the edge to the core to the cloud.”

Speaking about their participation at GITEX, Hasan said that the event is a very important one for Dell EMC. “This the place where great minds from not only in this region but across the globe meet and share insights on how they can further the growth of the ICT space. Everybody who is anybody from channel partners to customers come to this show. It is instrumental in getting the pulse of all our stakeholders on what they expect and need from us as a company.”
