FVC to distribute Unify solutions across Gulf

Value added distributor FVC has signed an agreement with Unify (formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications) to distribute its range of unified communications (UC) and contact centre solutions across UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Pakistan.

The range of solutions including team collaboration, voice platforms, applications, phones and clients.

“Securing this partnership with FVC is a result of our continued focus on supporting the channel in embracing complete UC portfolio,” said Thomas Veit, Senior Vice President EMEAR Channels, Unify. “With a strong expertise in unified communications, we believe that this relationship is a strong fit for us and something we look forward to developing further with FVC.”

According to Unify, FVC’s readiness to invest in developing the company’s business has been a catalyst in its selection as a distribution partner in the region.

“Unify is a strong addition to our unified communications solutions and will give our partners better options for putting together UC solutions that will fit the needs of enterprises of all sizes,” K. S. Parag, Managing Director, FVC, said. “We will support our channel with enablement activities to capitalise on new opportunities that these innovative solutions bring.”

FVC will be investing in channel, sales and pre-sales teams to focus on recruiting and expanding the Unify channel network across these countries supported by technical expertise, necessary demo equipment and training.

In addition, Unify’s Circuit UC Platform will be exhibited and demonstrated across its Executive Briefing Centres in the region, integrating them with existing Polycom video platforms.
