Ericsson named Korek SPMS provider

Ericsson has been chosen by Korek Telecom to provide a Spare Parts Management Service (SPMS).

As a continuation of its long-standing relationship with Korek, Ericsson will manage all spare parts required by the company.

This will include warehouse storage in Erbil and Baghdad, as well as logistics – such as transporting parts between Ericsson’s global replacement warehouse to different delivery points across Iraq.

“Our relationship with Ericsson goes years back, and we are pleased to be making this new collaborative step,” Sirwan Mustafa, Chairman, Korek telecom, said. “Ericsson’s spare parts management service will allow us to focus our energies elsewhere in our business, to deliver innovative solutions that will boost our customers’ experience.”

“Korek is committed to providing a superior service to its subscribers, as its continuous efforts to improve customer experience prove,” said Mohamad Dergham, President, Ericsson North Middle East. “The Ericsson SPMS will support Korek in this objective, and facilitate Iraq’s journey towards the Networked Society.”
