Canon Middle East introduces latest printer models to Oman’s IT channel

Canon Middle East gathered its top dealers in Oman to preview the latest models of printers and copiers it recently launched in the market. Over 100 attendees witnessed Canon’s preview of its laser printers and copiers, featuring more advanced functionalities and features, including enhanced colour quality and speeds.

“Canon has always offered state of the art products that combine cutting technology and value for money along with meeting the expectations of the diverse consumers of the region. The seminar provided an ideal platform for Canon to understand the needs of the corporate segment and further consolidate our presence in this market. The event also helped the end users who got an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the latest innovations within the Canon laser printer range,” said Venkatasubramanian Hariharan, regional sales director, Canon Middle East.

Hariharan added that the strategy also helps strengthen Canon’s relationship with their dealers. He said, “We want to show them that we are their partners in every genuine sense of the word, and will support them with activities like interactive product demonstrations and seminars to show how committed we are to their success.”

Genetco, Canon Middle East’s authorised distributor in Oman, was responsible for hosting the seminar for corporate clients of Al Dastoor Contracting and Trading, one of Canon’s top performing IT dealers in Oman. “Canon has been very supportive of our marketing initiatives, and that reflects in our exceptional performance last year. This series of seminars that Canon will be doing is a great way of not only introducing the products, but also engaging our customers on the most appropriate and effective solutions that will help them boost their businesses,” says Ambuj Khare, senior GM, Genetco.

The demand for cost effective all in one office inkjet printers have significantly increased within the segment of home office users. To cater to this growing market, Canon Middle East has launched its all in one inkjet multi function range including the ‘PIXMA MG4140’, in Oman. The new inkjet models combine new elegant designs along with cutting edge printing technology to meet basic and advanced printing needs of the business and home segment users, the company said.

Corporate end-users who attended the seminar got a preview of Canon’s latest range of laser printers. The new printers that were showcased are capable of producing outstanding quality pages, in colour and black and white. Attendees also experienced the quality of Canon’s unrivalled colour imaging technologies which give corporate end-users the competitive edge when producing quality presentations, brochures and other important corporate communications materials.
