Golden Systems to promote innovative solutions at GITEX 2009

Golden Systems Middle East (GSME), the leading distributor of IT products in the Middle East, announced that it plans to promote the latest and most innovative technologies at GITEX 2009. The company will be showcasing products from its global vendor-partners and holding a series of meeting at the Fairmont Hotel. GSME will also be hosting its annual traditional gala dinner for its customers and partners on 20th October 2009 at Al Murooj Rotana hotel. Historically, this annual dinner hosts over 400 channel partners and rewards the partners for their ongoing loyalty and dedication.

“GSME has a strong portfolio of world-class products from global vendors such as GIGABYTE, Logitech, Leadtek, Kaspersky, Kingmax, nVidia and AMD to name a few. GITEX, being the largest ICT event in the Middle East, is a perfect forum for us to promote our partners’ products to a wider audience and meet our local and regional customers and partners in one place during the five-day event. This GITEX, we are looking forward to strengthening our channel network further and increasing the market share of all the brands that we represent in the regional market,” says Sina Dadras, Manager – Marketing Communications, Golden Systems Middle East.

Over the last few years, GSME has built a strong network of channel partners and resellers across the Middle East and Africa. Having moved its regional headquarters to JAFZA earlier this year, GSME has been able to consolidate its business, hold regular training programs and workshops for its team and increase its support capabilities. “We have taken our business to a new level. About two years ago, the management had decided that we need to better service our customers and that logistics was an integral part of distribution. The best way to apply this concept was to move the entire operations under one roof to produce better and faster results. Two years later, here we are in Jebel Ali Free zone enjoying a more efficient and customer-oriented business”, said Mr. Abdul Rahim, Logstics Manager at GSME.

This GITEX will be an important event to GSME especially during the worldwide economic crisis. “We see many of our colleagues in the industry suffering from the crisis just trying to make ends meet. GSME is happy to say that during these tough times, we have not only been able to sustain our  business but also managed to expand our business into new fields and explore new opportunities”, said Ali Sharifi – CEO of GSME.

The distributor plans to hold technology briefings for its channel partners and exhibit new products from its flagship brand, GIGABYTE, which will include its latest overclocked graphics cards, motherboards and other peripherals. GSME will also showcase Kaspersky’s award winning antivirus solutions. Additionally, GSME plans to launch its GIGABYTE notebook business by introducing the complete and innovative range of models.  Senior executives from Golden Systems and its partners will be available during the GITEX period to meet with customers and partners.  GSME will be hosting another gala dinner on behalf of GIGABYTE Technology on 19th October 2009 at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai
