Mobile and tablet devices have become real hubs for all sorts of personal information, photos, work files, music, videos and so much more.

Best defense is backing up your iPhone and iPad. We’re going to go through two quick and easy ways of how to back up your iPhone and iPad data.

– Wireless backup on your device

To setup a wireless backup directly from your device you’ll need an iCloud account. Once you’re logged in to your iCloud make sure your device is connected via Wi-Fi network and not a 3g (you cant use 3g to backup).

Next – just tap settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, turn on the iCloud Backup toggle, and press Back Up Now.

This helps create a manual backup of your device at any time, Also, after iCloud Backup turned on, whenever your device connects to a Wi-Fi network it automatically syncs up everything.

– Backing up using iTunes

You can backup your device through iTunes, connecting your device or tablet into your computer and open iTunes.

Using iTunes, click the devices menu, select your device and scroll down into the summary section to Backups. There, under Manually Back and Restore, Click Back Up Now.

You could also change your backup settings through this menu by selecting/deselecting the backup methods for your device.
