Samsung breaks rules taking witnesses to see courtroom

Samsung has been breaching the rules of the court again. It has emerged that on Thursday Samsung attorney Christopher Stretch brought five Samsung witnesses, two interpreters, and three Samsung in-house attorneys, to see the Ceremonial Courtroom.

A report on Foss Patents claims that when the nine visitors arrived at the court room it was locked so Stretch rang Judge Fogel’s chambers and claimed to be “a friend” of Judge Breyer who hoped to show some people the Ceremonial Courtroom.
Stretch maintains that when they were let into the court room he said that he was a member of Samsung’s trial team. Stretch says he was “unaware of any prohibition against visiting the Ceremonial Courtroom”.

Over in Australia, Samsung’s counsel Katrina Howard has accused Apple’s lawyers of covertly meeting with experts and attempting to get them to change their minds.
