Fortinet announces new sales tools for partners

Fortinet,  a leading UTM solutions vendor rewarded its best performing brightest partners at this week’s annual Fortinet EMEA Partner Conference to reward the achievements of its highest-performing partners and reflect upon its most successful year on record.  In the last 12 months of challenging economic conditions, Fortinet has provided unprecedented levels of support to sales partners, enabling them to achieve record sales figures. At the conference, Fortinet also launched a set of new sales and e-support tools to further enhance its partner support.

“We value and reward our partners highly because they are instrumental to our success.   As a result, sales volumes and deal sizes have increased, allowing us to further establish Fortinet’s position as a key enterprise-level IT security player,” said Patrice Perche, vice president of EMEA & SEA sales for Fortinet.   “We shaped our partner base with the objective to deliver high-value business, and I feel confident that we have now a larger and also far more committed, focused and well-equipped channel for the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

Fortinet has made major enhancements to its FortiPartner Program in the last 12 months, re-enforcing its channel presence in high-growth EMEA territories and extending its reach across Eastern Europe and Middle East. The company has recruited more than 1,300 new resellers across the region in the last year and almost doubled the number of its certified engineers to accompany its business growth.

Fortinet also bolstered its FortiPartner Program by launching new sales tools and training that support its end-to-end IT security offering as well as a set of new e-support tools at its EMEA Partner Event this week. Fortinet e-support will include a knowledge base service and a live ‘chat’ room for instant access to technical support.
