Etisalat has implemented an iPhone application for Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) in collaboration with Flagship Projects. The iPhone application will provide information about companies operating in DAFZA and their businesses. Besides information, the application will also provide quick services on fingertips, to more than 1,450 companies currently operating at the Freezone employing more than 12,000 people.
Last year Etisalat had signed a strategic agreement with Dubai Airport Freezone to provide dedicated services to its occupants. The latest iPhone application is in line with the strategic vision to collaborate and create value centric initiatives for the Freezone tenants. Available for all the iPhone users in the UAE, this application will enable users to get proactive information about Dubai Airport Freezone and the businesses operating in the Freezone. Moreover, the application will also provide information on Freezone’s facilities and interactive quick services for the tenants, such as Tasheel service, car park stickers, gate pass services, and other logistics facilitation. The application will also enable Dubai Airport Freezone to virtually extend reach beyond the physical Freezone boundaries to service its occupants, while also augmenting the Freezone‘s reputation as the premier provider of business services.
Commenting on the iPhone application Mohammed Al Hashimi, executive director for the corporate support division at the Dubai Airport Freezone said, “Our Freezone’s vision is to create a techno-savvy community, where technology is leveraged in every aspect of our planned development. Our partnership with Etisalat enables us to effectively accomplish this objective by providing innovative services like the iPhone application to our customers.”
Commenting on the iPhone application, Abdulla Hashim, senior VP for business solutions at Etisalat said: “Mobility today has become a business reality, and organisations like Dubai Airport Freezone are leading this trend through their vision to extend their reach beyond erstwhile physical and virtual boundaries, by providing information right in hands of people. The iPhone application implemented by Etisalat in collaboration with Flagship Projects for Dubai Airport Freezone will strengthen our strategic relationship with The Freezone while also providing an unmatched experience to our SMB customers located within the free zone.”
