David Watt is the Group IT Director for the Wafi Group, based in Dubai, which includes Wafi Mall, Raffles Dubai and a collection of around 30 companies in diverse business sectors (including hotels, property management, manufacturing, transportation and logistics) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Khalifa al Maktoum. He has an extensive IT Management career in international and multinational organisations, specialising in enabling companies to maximise their return on IT investment and deliver a world-class service. Over the last 30 years, he has devised and implemented complex IT strategies in the Transportation/ Logistics, Financial Services and Property Management sectors, amongst others. David holds an honours degree in Computer Science from St. Andrews? University and a Diploma in the Management of Technology and Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
