Comguard will conduct a five-day inaugural training program for the Middle East region on HP ArcSight ESM starting from 15th April 2012 in Dubai for its partners and end-users, the company added. During the training, partners and end-users will be updated, trained and certified on the HP ArcSight ESM solution.

Jayadevan K, senior VP, Value Business at Comguard, said, “With the rise of instances of security breaches in the region today and the threats faced by enterprises and governments, addressing security is of paramount importance. We believe this training will educate security professionals about the technology and train them to take proactive measures to guard an organisation against rising security threats. Experts from both Comguard and HP ArcSight will give overviews and technical training on HP ArcSight ESM, including the latest developments and offerings designed to improve skill sets and enable enterprises to proactively safeguard their digital assets, control the risks associated with cyber theft, cyber fraud, cyber warfare and cyber espionage, and comply with corporate and regulatory policy. HP will provide qualified partners and end-users with a certification upon completion of the course.

HP ArcSight ESM is a powerful compliance solution that enables organisations to analyse and correlate critical security events generated from multiple sources, including security devices, networking equipment, and databases, among others, resulting in rapid identification, prioritisation and response to policy breaches, cyber security attacks and insider threats.”
