Sourcefire to present at MENA Information Security Conference 2012 in Jordan

Sourcefire, a cybersecurity solutions provider, recently announced that it will present on Agile Security at the MENA Information Security Conference 2012 (MENAISC) in Jordan on April 18th.

Aimed at promoting Information Security for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the conference, organised by VirtuPort, plays an integral role in keeping security professionals across MENA connected and educated, the company said.

Speaking on their participation, Maher Jadallah, regional manager, Sourcefire, Middle East and Africa said, “With growing demand for cyber security and the current IT landscape, MENAISC 2012 provides us the perfect platform to interact with the region’s top IT professionals across the board. Given our strong commitment to the region, it also gives the opportunity to share our global experience and work toward building stronger cyber security.”

The presentation on Agile Security will demonstrate how the latest technology can provide quick and effective visibility to understand networks and endpoints and facilitate the control to help stop and minimise potential damage in real time, representatives added.

Sourcefire said that Joakim Sundberg, senior security engineer for Sourcefire – Middle East will speak on the subject of “agile security – visibility, flexibility and control: how to fight advanced persistent threats” at the cyber defence-themed conference.
