Think SS, Akamai sign partnership agreement

Think Software Services (Think SS) and Akamai, Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, has recently signed a partnership agreement to provide regional businesses operating across all verticals with Akamai security and web acceleration solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Think SS will resell and implement the vendor’s entire portfolio of solutions to end-user customers across the Middle East market. The systems integrator also joins Akamai’s NetAlliance Partner Programme and as such will gain access to the wide portfolio of online services and day to day sales and engineering support.

“Think SS bring specialist expertise and experience from working with customers in some specific industries in the Middle East. Our strategy is to work with partners like Think SS to scale our business in the region,” said Robert Wickberg-Taylar, Sales Manager, Middle East, Akamai. “Working with companies like Think SS is already very much part of the company strategy to work with ‘best in class’ partners to grow our business and ensure our joint customers gain from being able to purchase Akamai services via their preferred suppliers. Think SS with its specialised security team will help to reply to the dynamics of the market and fulfill the demand for improving security posture of companies within the region.”

Think SS will be distributing the vendor’s complete multi-layered defence to protect websites against the increasing threat and also DDoS defence for protecting all data centre infrastructures The systems integrator will also deliver the vendor’s application-layer defence for SQL injections and cross-site scripting, network and situational optimisations on device, network and browser.

“Akamai provides comprehensive partner support on the sales, marketing and enablement side. With specialised team of account executives and solution engineers dedicated to specific industries, Akamai will help to fulfill the specific demand of each particular customer for a full featured online security service and web performance,” said Wickberg-Taylar.
