Dr. Ali Baghdadi - President & CEO, Middle East, Africa & Turkey, Ingram Micro

Studied Eectronics & Telecommunications Engineering at Cairo University, then obtained a Masters and PhD in computer science from Imperial College – London University.

Dr Ali Baghdadi has built a group of companies operating in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Starting with Appropriate Technology Plc in the UK (Aptec), the group grew by investments and acquisitions. The group of companies included software development, document management, design and manufacture of intelligent controllers, Value added distribution, services and training. All in the IT sector.

Following the sale of the Aptec Group to Ingram Micro Inc in 2012, he is now acting as Senior Vice President for the Global company and Chief Executive of the Middle East, Africa and Turkey Region. Ingram Micro is the largest IT & Mobility distributor in the world and is a Fortune 100 company.
