Samsung Gulf Electronics’ Fadi Abu Shamat discusses how regional consumers are shaping the evolution of the company’s ultra-slim flagship and its expanding Galaxy AI ecosystem.

Consumers here appreciate technology that complements their fast-paced, design-conscious lifestyles, and that’s exactly what the S25 Edge delivers. At just 5.8 mm thin, it merges elegance with endurance through its titanium frame and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.  The Galaxy S25 Edge is a testament to our belief that design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about how the complete customer experience, from durability and portability, to seamless functionality. We’ve also seen strong demand from professionals and creators who value both portability and performance, proving that slim can still mean powerful. We listen very closely to our customers, and their feedback continues to inform and inspire how we refine both the software experience and future design iterations across the Galaxy ecosystem. 

The S25 Edge combines a 5.8 mm titanium frame with a 200 MP AI-enabled camera – how is Samsung ensuring this balance between ultra-slim design and pro-grade performance continues to meet the expectations of users in the region?
Achieving this balance was a major engineering milestone for us. With the Galaxy S25 Edge, we reimagined every internal component, from a thinner vapor cooling chamber to more efficient AI image processing, allowing us to maintain flagship-level performance without compromise. The 200MP ProVisual camera also brings pro-grade quality to a truly pocketable device, with Nightography and AI-enhanced detail that both professionals and everyday users alike can rely on for the best in content creation. Our ongoing mission is to make advanced technology feel effortless. We’ll continue refining this harmony between form and function, scaling these innovations based on consumer demand and technological readiness.  

With Galaxy AI integrated across the Galaxy S25 Series, how are Middle East users adopting features like Gemini Live, Now Bar, and Audio Eraser in their daily lives, and how is their feedback shaping future updates?
Galaxy AI is transforming how people use their phones day to day, and the adoption in the region has been remarkable, particularly with the support of National AI strategies. Users are embracing features like Gemini Live to bridge communication gaps, whether that’s conducting real-time conversations across languages or identifying an object using the camera. The Now Bar has become a favorite for multitaskers, offering timely and context-aware suggestions that make daily routines more seamless. With Audio Eraser, content creators and social media users are enjoying cleaner, more professional-grade videos without background noise.
