Kaspersky signs MoU with Zayed University

21 December 2020: Kaspersky, the global cybersecurity solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zayed University in the UAE. Both entities share the mutual goal of equipping the youth of today with the best education in the field of cybersecurity. Kaspersky will work hand in hand with Zayed University towards accomplishing this goal by organising events, conferences, and educational activities at the University.

Kaspersky will also provide the University with industry educational content, training materials and academic programs in the field of cybersecurity. Through this partnership, both parties will organise joint projects in the field of cyber security and develop educational campaigns aimed at creating awareness by enhancing the cyber readiness amongst the university students. The two entities will work together towards building the next-generation of well-equipped cybersecurity leaders.

The focus of this collaboration will be on students pursuing a career in cybersecurity. With over 20 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, Kaspersky will organise in-depth courses on topics such as reverse malware engineering and threat hunting to prepare these students to enter into the field with the knowledge and skills required to take on even the most advanced and complex cyber threats.
