KSA’s Kollona Amn mobile app records half million reports

According to a report in the Saudi Gazette, Kollona Amn, a mobile app introduced by the Ministry of Interior in 2016 to enable citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia to complain about any criminal or traffic violation, reached nearly half a million reports last year.

As per the description of the project, the app aims to speed up rescue missions and efficiency. It stated, “By capturing an incident via media tools such as photo, video, or voice note, citizens can aid police in reporting investigations around them. Contributors also receive updates on the status of their incidents via the app.”

Kollona Amn can be downloaded on both iOS and Android platforms.
