- Cisco User Protection Suite – covering Duo, Secure Access, Email Threat Defence, End point threat detection & response.
- Cloud Protection Suite – covering Multi cloud Defence, Container security and Micro segmentation.
- Breach Protection Suite – covering XDR, Vulnerability management and Risk scoring as well as Talos Threat Intelligence.
At GISEC, Cisco also announced the UAE findings of its 2024 Cybersecurity Readiness Index that showed:
- A remarkable increase in cybersecurity investment plans within UAE organizations, with 99% of respondents planning to increase their cybersecurity budgets in the next year.
- A significant surge in the use of AI technologies in cybersecurity strategies among UAE organizations. The study indicates that 91% of companies surveyed are integrating AI in their security defenses, mainly in threat detection, response, and recovery.
- Cybersecurity Readiness is critical: 85% of respondents said a cybersecurity incident is likely to disrupt their business in the next 12 to 24 months, while 65% of respondents already experienced a cybersecurity incident in the past year.
- The persistence of the cyber talent gap underscores the need for innovative solutions, with 90% of companies highlighting talent shortage as an issue.
- Companies are aware of the challenges and are ramping up their defenses with 68% planning to significantly upgrade their IT infrastructure to address security challenges in the next 12 to 24 months.
