A new subscription bundle is hitting the Appstore called Creative Studio. As part of an initiative to increase reoccurring revenue, Apple is seeking to freshen up its video-editing and photo software.
It stated the bundle is designed to give creators of all skill levels studio‑grade power across Mac, iPad, and iPhone devices.
The suite also introduces new AI‑powered features, including faster video workflows, smart content creation tools and intelligent document or presentation enhancements.
The bundle, which includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro and MainStage, among others, costs $12.99 per month or $129 annually. University students and educators can subscribe for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
Apple is offering a one-month free trial for the bundle, which will be available on the 28th January.
The iPhone-maker will continue to offer the apps for sale individually on its Mac App Store.
Bloomberg reported Apple’s competitors, including Adobe, ByteDance-owned CapCut and Edit by Meta Platform’s Instagram, are building more advance versions of their products for mobile devices.
In last year’s Q4 (the period ending 27 September), Apple posted an all-time high for service revenue at $28.8 billion, up 15 per cent year-over-year.
In November 2025, Apple unveiled a new programme for mini app developers which slashes fees for in-app purchases from 30 per cent to 15 per cent while creating a new revenue stream for the iPhone-maker.
