“The path to Agentic AI heaven can be hellish, but our Workflow Data Fabric is the solution” – Gaurav Rewari, ServiceNow

Gaurav Rewari, SVP and GM of Data Analytics at ServiceNow, has highlighted how their Workflow Data Fabric can help enterprises to unify and understand their data in order to get actionable insights and tangible business outcomes.

Rewari conceded that the road to Agentic AI can be a bumpy one, with many roadblocks and obstacles along the way, but he was unwavering in his belief that the portfolio of solutions that ServiceNow has will equip enterprises with the tools they need to achieve business success.

Gaurav Rewari, SVP and GM of Data Analytics at ServiceNow believes Workflow Data Fabric is the path to Agentic AI Heaven.

“As I often say the path to Agentic AI heaven can be hellish, and many businesses will go

through some form of data hell, that is the reality. Last year, it emerged that 60% of all AI projects were abandoned due to incomplete data. However, the good news is that ServiceNow provides solutions that will make your business AI-ready,” said Rewari.

Rewari stressed the need for businesses to have AI-ready infrastructure today, and said that in the current climate there was a necessity for analytics at the speed of thought. He believes the solutions to overcome all these issues comes in the form of ServiceNow’s Workflow Data Fabric.

“Unifying data across the enterprise is absolutely crucial, and we need to enable our agents to learn what we want them to learn. The ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric connects disparate data sources, understands the data, cleanses the data and ensures its actionable to deliver real-time outcomes. However, what really makes our data fabric unique is that it goes way beyond integration. It is designed for insight-for-action,” said Rewari.

Before concluding his presentation, Rewari revealed that ServiceNow had acquired Texas-based Data.World, a cloud-native data catalog and data governance platform for an undisclosed fee.

Amit Zavery, President and Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow had earlier kickstarted the opening keynote on Day 2 of Knowledge 25, in which he bemoaned the volume of manual workflows, and highlighted why so many Fortune500 companies were turning to ServiceNow.

“The reality is that AI is evolving faster than most businesses, but many businesses are still missing something crucial and that is orchestration. The vast majority of workflows are still largely manual, and that creates a disconnect that are holding businesses back. We have seen that AI pacesetters are seeing huge success, by leveraging our unified platform they are orchestrating AI agents to work effectively and seamlessly across all functions of their business. They are four times more likely to drive tangible outcomes, and that’s why 85% of Fortune 500 have turned to ServiceNow,” said Zavery.

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian appeared via video link, and outlined the importance of their partnership with ServiceNow.

“We are committed to building an open ecosystem with strategic partners, because enterprise technology is being completely redefined by AI. Too many businesses operate silos and are confined to one system of records, and that stunts productivity and growth, we need agent-to-agent interoperability. Google Cloud and ServiceNow have a rich history of working together, and we are integrated into the ServiceNow Agent AI Fabric and that is helping us to unlock real value across the enterprise,” said Kurian.

Zavery concluded his session by reinforcing that work that used to take days, can now be done in minutes.

“AI are no longer tools, they are a workforce, they are a digital workforce. We are now in an AI-driven enterprise, and that enterprise is being driven by the ServiceNow platform.”
