Epicor partners announce Middle East expansion strategy

Epicor Software Corporation, a business software solutions provider for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organisations, today announced that two Epicor Value Added Resellers (VARs) will be expanding Middle East operations.

“Several Epicor partners are expanding operations in the Middle East, taking advantage of the exciting growth prospects that have emerged in the region’s IT sector,” said Anish Kanaran, regional director for Epicor in the Middle East.

Business Consult, an Epicor partner for 11 years with headquarters in Jordan, is expanding its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “With our new office in Riyadh, Business Consult’s success as a leading implementer of Epicor ERP has given us the confidence to expand our reach across the KSA, the largest economy in the Arab world,” said Hani S. Saadi, MD of Business Consult. “The KSA is supporting the expansion of the local IT sector by channeling investment into the market, creating huge potential for IT service providers like us.”

Based in Kenya, the MFI Group operates in eight countries and has almost 30 years’ of experience in total business solutions and IT consulting across Sub Saharan Africa. “Over the past 12 months MFI has invested heavily in the Epicor line of business yielding very positive results in Africa. We are capitalising on this investment by diversifying geographically and expanding into the Middle East,” said Aadil Tharani, MD for MFI. “The Middle East offers attractive growth potential and Dubai in particular has proven to be the gateway into Africa for many businesses. We will use this to spearhead our strategy of targeting organisations that have a footprint across the Middle East and Africa.”

“Epicor provides a solid foundation for channel partners who are committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. We continue to drive our ‘Partner for Growth’ program, a comprehensive sales, marketing, and support program that offers partners significant opportunities to grow their businesses,” said Kanaran.

With its regional headquarters in Dubai, Epicor now has over 20 partners across the region and more than 300 customers.
