Itqan signs on software provider EtQ

Itqan Al-Bawardi Computers, a systems integrator and IT solutions provider has announced its partnership with software provider, EtQ.

The partnership came after the company decided to expand its service offering into Enterprise Quality Management, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Software, earlier this month to be the first Middle Eastern partner to EtQ, and among the first providers in the region to extend solutions in this arena.

Already an experienced software solutions provider in its own right, Itqan has spent the last 28 years serving clients all over the UAE with its own specialised software offerings as well as offerings from its wide network of world renowned partners.

EtQ boasts some of the world’s leading solutions for identifying, mitigating and preventing high-risk events through integration, automation and collaboration, the company said. Their wide portfolio of integrated software solutions includes Quality, EHS and Compliance Management Systems, with best-in-class modules for a variety of industries, particularly their core competencies in Quality, EHS, Food and Beverage, Aviation and Life Sciences.

“We are excited about the prospects of this new partnership,” stated Feras Al Jabi, GM of Itqan, “Itqan and EtQ will collaborate to provide customers in the UAE with some exciting solutions for the betterment of and compliance to corporate quality, health and safety standards.”

“EtQ is a customer-focused company that has achieved success through a dedicated focus on understanding the requirements of our customers and responding with software products that help our customers better achieve their business goals” said Glenn McCarty, CEO of EtQ.  “We know Itqan shares these values, which was a  major contributing factor in choosing Itqan as a business partner. ”

Imad Shuwaikih, technical services practice manager, Itqan said, “The level of market readiness in UAE and the region for automating the health, safety, quality and risk management is becoming incontestably high.” He goes on to explain, “Many organisations (governmental, semi-government and private) are looking to improve their operations, production and compliance environments as they have become key to organisational success. Introducing EtQ to the market is an important step that Itqan is taking to ensure clients’ enablement to comply with all environmental, health, and safety standards.”
