Lebanese firm Seez R has launched its app in the UAE that is “going to change” how users look for and purchase cars.
Seez R uses technologies such as, AI and image recognition, as well as featuring a chatbot assistant for the buying process.
Seez R was born out of a desire to “solve problems and inefficiencies” associated with the hassle of buying a car.
Consumers spend months looking for the right car and often end up seeing a fraction of the cars available in the market, thus missing out on great deals, Seez says.
Seez R works as a search engine for cars, which allows users to search multiple sites, providing one platform for them to access the market faster.
The app has a built-in personalised concierge service called Cesar, which searches, filters and sorts results.
Cesar also negotiates with car sellers on behalf of users, securing “exclusive” deals.
Users can also use Seez R to get real-time car prices and market values to know what the car is worth, and can also search for cars using image recognition by taking pictures of cars they spot on the street, receiving contextual location-based notifications.
The app recently reached number three in the UAE App Store, and currently has over 30,000 users.
Seez’s mission is to automate the car search and buying process so that buyers can easily find the car they want, contact sellers, and negotiate the price in the fastest, most efficient way possible.
Seez was founded in 2015 by Andrew and Tarek Kabrit.
“We will be pushing hard on AI and chatbots in our app,” Kabrit said. “The funding will go towards enhancing those capabilities by expanding the team in Beirut and Dubai, in addition to develop our marketing scheme.”
