Artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies will enable the UAE government stands to save $2.9 billion (AED 11 billion) in economic return and $105.9 million (AED 389 million) in government documents alone per year, according to AI Minister Omar bin Sultan Al Olama
Al Olama made his remarks during his keynote address at the Future Blockchain Summit, which is taking place in Dubai.
‘’Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain are two of the most powerful technologies that are revolutionizing the pace of innovation in the UAE. We believe that AI will be a strong ally for blockchain and will play a pivotal role in the UAE Blockchain Strategy 2021. It will help in the formation of the blockchain government, identify business process reengineering within organisations, enhance federal regulations and enable efficient monitoring of processes and systems. With the combined power of AI and blockchain, the UAE government stands to save $2.9 billion in economic return and $105.9 million in government documents alone per year,” said Al Olama.
Taking place from May 2-3, 2018 at Dubai World Trade Centre, Future Blockchain Summit is set to welcome over 5,000 captains of industry and visionary technologists, as well as over 100 exhibitors, half of which are path-breaking local and international startups.
