Exabeam, Alcon Cyber Security and VAD Technologies delve into the potential of AI-driven SOCs

A recent technology roundtable, collaboratively hosted by Exabeam, Alcon Cyber Security and VAD Technologies brought together esteemed cybersecurity leaders to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in modern Security Operation Centres (SOCs).

Held at the Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates, the evening brought together leading cybersecurity professionals and CISOs to uncover practical approaches to achieving a smarter, faster, and more resilient cyber defense with tools such as predictive analytics and GenAI-powered decision-making.

The key aims of the roundtable was to help the group understand how AI is playing a role in revolutionising SOC operations — from predictive analytics to GenAI-powered decision-making. Special focus would be given to aligning threat KPIs with business objectives and utilising insights of anomaly detection and UEBA. Through multiple video demonstrations the customers were shown 0n-premises GenAI and predictive intelligence in action.

Ramy Muhammad Ahmad, Principal Director, Solutions Engineering, iMETA at Exabeam was joined by Mohieddin Kharnoub, Strategic Alliances & Channel Director, iMETA at Exabeam opened the discussions by explaining how the customers could align threat KPIs with their business outcomes. They went on to detail use cases of anomaly detection and UEBA, and to show on-prem GenAI in action. The evening was notable for its high level of customer engagement as attendees actively contributed to a lively conversation by raising pain points around agentic AI, which were then fully addressed by the Exabeam representatives. Following an interactive roundtable with these Exabeam experts, a live demo was presented showcasing AI-driven threat detection and predictive intelligence.

“The future of cybersecurity depends on how intelligently we apply data and AI to understand, predict, and mitigate risk before it impacts business”, said Ramy Muhammad Ahmad, Principal Director, Solutions Engineering, iMETA, Exabeam. “AI-driven SOC isn’t just about faster detection — it’s about enabling human analysts to think more strategically, respond more confidently, and build a culture of continuous resilience”.

“AI has become the cornerstone of modern cyber defense”, said Mr. Navinchandar Naidu, Founder & CEO, Alcon Cyber Security. “By integrating intelligence, automation, and contextual analytics into SOC operations, we’re not just responding to threats — we’re anticipating them. This shift from reactive security to predictive resilience empowers organisations to protect what truly matters: trust, continuity, and innovation”.

“The collaboration between technology innovators and channel partners is redefining how enterprises approach cybersecurity”, said Shahsin Shafeek P V, Product Manager at VAD Technologies. “By embracing AI-driven SOC solutions, we are empowering organisations to move from detection to prediction — ensuring security teams can make faster, data-backed decisions and maintain operational continuity in an increasingly complex threat landscape”.

Karim Shaik, Senior IT Specialist, Vice-President’s Office, said, “The session was extremely insightful. It was impressive to see how and Exabeam are advancing with Agentic AI. The AI-driven automation noticeably speeds up detection and response, cuts down manual triage, and reduces alert fatigue. I was particularly impressed with Exabeam’s behavioural analytics, which provide deeper visibility into insider threats compared to rule-based systems. With faster MTTR, better ROI, and smarter staffing utilisation, these enhancements clearly elevate SOC efficiency and threat-detection maturity”.
Saji Kumar, IT Manager, Emirates International School – Meadows, said, “The session has highlighted how platforms like Exabeam can streamline investigation workflows, reduce analyst fatigue, and significantly improve overall SOC efficiency”.
