AOC, the largest display manufacturer in the world, recently invited its leading distributors from the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia to its International Disti Conference in Thailand.
The two-day event was help under the banner “Reach 2013”, and focused on developing relationships with partners, raising awareness of business opportunities, and navigating the AOC product roadmap, AOC said.
“We are overwhelmed with our partners’ outstanding performance, despite the challenges,” said Brian Liu, Regional Director for MEA and Central Asia, AOC.
“The event is our way of appreciating the efforts of our distributors for their commitment to keep on pushing the sales in their respective territories. Over the years, our annual disti conference has also become a platform for productive discussion with our partners to help them adapt more easily to the changing trends as well as serve the best interests of our customers and improve their profitability.”
The event saw AOC present its annual Disti awards and certificates of appreciation. Distributors such as Fire Bird Distribution, ASBIS Middle East, Compunics Technologies, Platinum Micro, Tarsus Technologies, One World Computer Networks, Estishari for Computer Services, Al-Seera Group, Simurg Georgia, Simurg IT, Technostar, Simurg Distribution and Granada For Computer Innovation all took home something.
Several workshops were also organised over the course of the two days. The idea was to update partners about AOC’s new technologies that it will incorporate into its new range of products. Partners were given hands-on training on the new product line.
