Emirates NBD announced the launch of SkyShopper, an exclusive online marketplace for its customers.
The new initiative follows the bank’s announcement of a planned AED 500 million investment towards digital innovation and transformation over a three-year period.
The e-commerce platform will enable Emirates NBD credit and debit card customers to shop and pay for purchases ranging from flights, hotels, electronics and fashion items to entertainment, groceries as well as international shopping using one consolidated check-out.
SkyShopper’s current partners include travel booking sites Cleartrip and Musafir, leading fashion and lifestyle portal Namshi and electronics stores such as Axiom, Jumbo and Sharaf DG. Customers will also be able to tickets to shows on Platinumlist, while ordering groceries through Trolley.ae, without having to visit separate sites and making multiple payment transactions.
In addition, customers will also be able to shop at international online stores with delivery to the UAE consolidated and routed through a US shipping address (MyUS.com) and at My Smart Price (MSP) India with delivery anywhere in India.
New partnerships in the pipeline include Booking.com, The Luxury Closet, 6thSTREET.COM and Headout.
