FVC highlights tech advantages for Petrochemical industry at PetroTech 2009

FVC is participating in the upcoming PetroTech 2009, an International Oil & Gas Technology Conference and Exhibition to be held in Cairo from 14-16th December 2009. PetroTech 2009 is expected to facilitate interaction between its 220 delegates from the Egyptian oil & gas sector and around 35 ICT technology service providers companies.

Ahmed Youssef, General Manager at FVC Egypt, said, “Technology is the key differentiator in any industry and the oil & gas industry is no different. We work closely with some of the key players in the industry and a conference like PetroTech gives us the opportunity to share some of the new technologies and advances that can enhance business operations in this sector.”

FVC will represent four key vendors at PetroTech, sharing the advantages of technology in the petrochemical industry during the two day conference. Key presenters from the team include Maher Jadallah, Regional Manager Middle East & North Africa for Riverbed Technology, on ‘The battle against latency and cost’; Mohamed Helmy, TippingPoint’s Regional Technical Sales Manager in KSA, Egypt, Levant & North Africa on ‘The Coming Threat, ARE YOU READY?’ and FVC Egypt’s GM, Ahmed Youssef’s presentation on Green technology leveraging communication solutions.

The FVC Egypt team are available on all days to meet with customers and partners to showcase the business advantages of new technologies.
