Global Future Councils explores quantum computing potential

The Future Computing Council, which was held in the second session of the World Future Council, predicted that the evolution of quantum computing and its systems will undergo radical transformations in the world as the technology of high power and its impact on various industries and digitised works.

The Council addressed the importance of quantitative computing and its impact on the digital world and business sectors and reviewed the most important opportunities offered by automated learning techniques supported by artificial intelligence techniques and quantitative computers, which is a new model of computing, which enables its ability to solve the most complex computational and digital problems in minutes compared to the full computing capacity in the world.

The Council reviewed the most important applications expected in several areas, including health and energy, which will help quantitative computers in the future to design drugs that address many diseases and design materials used to packaging these drugs and delivery to the target areas in the human body in addition to the tools provided by the semiconductor sector, which was developed over decades.

The UAE government, in partnership with the World Economic Forum (Davos), held the second session of the meetings of future international councils with the participation of more than 700 scientists and future advisors from 75 countries who met in 35 councils to discuss important files and vital sectors.
