Samsung launches Central Station Monitors in the UAE

Samsung Electronics, has recently launched its Central Station Monitor, LC27A550U, in the UAE.

“The Samsung Central Station LC27A550U monitor provides a remarkable PC experience with maximum viewing experience, mobility and productivity to our valued customers in the UAE. As a leader in the regional monitor market, Samsung is always at the forefront of introducing new technologies and competitive products to our regional users. The Central Station reinforces Samsung’s dedication to innovation and technological excellence,” said Anupam Birla, business head of Samsung Gulf Electronics, Visual Display Unit.

The Samsung Central Station is equipped with multiple connections such as HDMI, USB, ethernet/LAN, RGB and audio. Instead of connecting multiple cables to their notebook PCs, users can connect all the wires to the Central Station and use one simple USB connection to streamline the workspace, the company added.

USB 3.0 Technology, embedded in the Central Station, enables users to transfer data and charge their mobile devices in super speeds. With the USB 3.0, users can benefit from 10 times faster data transfer compared to a USB 2.0 technology, it was reported. Additionally, users will also be able to charge their mobile devices twice as fast than conventional electric charging.

“As the Samsung Central Station provides powerful connectivity and docking station like capabilities, it would be the ideal monitor for users who require a second monitor to multitask, expand their workspace or maximise their productivity,” Birla added.

Using dual monitors, users can easily overcome the limitation of a notebook screen size. Users can connect their smaller screen sized notebook to a larger 27 inches Central Station screen when they wish to multitask or extend and optimize their viewing experience.

In order to provide the best picture quality to its users, the Samsung Central Station LC27A550U uses the most innovative and advanced display technologies: LED backlight and Mega DCR. The new monitor offers the crystal clear picture quality that delivers superior contrast, richer colors, deeper blacks and sharper images, Samsung said. To allow users to maximise their viewing experience, the Central Station is ergonomically designed with using a dual hinge built to allows to adjust the screen position at their convenience.

The Samsung Central Station will be available across leading retail outlets in UAE for AED 1,999.
