Singtel recently entered a partnership with floLIVE, a cloud-native IoT connectivity provider, and named Lenovo Connect as a channel partner. These actions help support strategies designed to strengthen its international IoT services for local enterprises
By integrating Lenovo Connect’s device connectivity and floLIVE’s global network and multi-SIM technology into its global IoT network, Singtel introduced its multi-domestic connectivity service, which streamlines enterprise operations, reduces time-to-market and ensures consistent service delivery across borders, the operator explained in a statement.
The tie-up with floLIVE enables enterprises to use a single access point to expand their overseas footprint across more than 190 markets, eliminating the complexity of managing multiple mobile network operator agreements, SIM platforms, billing systems and network switching. The deal with Lenovo Connect gives OEMs a single, unified platform to support their overseas expansion, the statement added.
Singtel Singapore CEO Ng Tian Chong stated its global IoT offering “simplifies global connectivity, ensures compliance and enables scalable device lifecycle management”. He said the multi-domestic connectivity service is designed to cope with the complexities of next-generation IoT applications, enabling intelligent, borderless mobility.
