WSO2, headquartered in the USA and recognised by Gartner as number one Open-source company in integration have opened their offices in Dubai with ambitious plans to forge into the Middle East market.

“We have been recognised by Gartner as the number one open-source company in integration. We bring with us 15 years of global experience to the Middle East region. We are trying to establish our presence here and showcase some of the cutting-edge technologies and products that we have to offer to the Middle East market”, says Uday Kizhepat, Vice President and General Manager, MEA at WSO2.

“As you know, the region is currently riding the wave of digital transformation. The pandemic has amplified this wave which in the last 18 months have grown and leaped ahead by 7 years. And API is one of the core pillars of digital transformation. We have products that can help companies develop and built API’s that integrate with multiple technologies and heterogenous applications. We provide a complete package where you can build, develop and integrate multiple technologies as well as provide a security layer. Also, we are a hundred percent Open-source company where all our products are open source”, adds Kizhepat.

“Currently, we are expanding at an aggressive pace. We have offices in 8 regions around the world and we have now opened our latest office in Dubai. We also have customers in 85 international markets. We feel the Middle East has a lot of potential from an open-source integration standpoint as there are no other vendors offering what we have to offer”, says Devaka Randeniya, Chief Revenue Officer at WS02.

“We are an independent vendor as in we are not locked into the larger infrastructure providers like Amazon, Microsoft etc. Hence it provides our customers the freedom to choose their infrastructure layer and they love this”, adds Randeniya.

WSO2 will be exhibiting for the first time at GITEX this year where they hope to reach out to customers and channel alike.

“GITEX is the largest technology event in the region, and we want use this platform to leverage and establish our presence here. We have also realised that Channel is key in this market, and we will be using the same to reach out to more and more customers”, concludes Kizhepat.
